HBP is Omaha’s original home inspection company. Since 1980, we have been setting the standard in our local area.

Owners Patrick and Chérie Casey saw the vision and need for home and building inspections when they founded their company. They brought the profession to this part of the Midwest. Patrick has extensive experience in home and small commercial construction as a master carpenter, project manager and remodeling contractor. Chérie is the human resources, marketing and public relations manager for the company.

The HBP inspection team brings an incredible 55 years of experience in all elements of home construction to our clients. Each of our inspectors is thoroughly trained by Mr. Casey and required to become certified through ASHI®, the oldest and most respected professional association for home inspectors. In fact, Mr. Casey has served as a past national president of this prestigious organization. All inspectors are required to maintain continuing education annually and keep current with new technologies.

What to Expect with an HBP Inspection

HBP home inspections meet or exceed all standards set by The American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI®). Inspections are specifically designed to help determine the condition of the home and if the major operating systems are in working order. The inspection provides an invaluable learning and discovery experience during which your questions can be answered on the spot. You will gain insight into maintenance and energy conservation tailored specifically to your home. We wholeheartedly encourage you to accompany us during the inspection. In addition, all of our clients are offered free telephone consultation after the inspection. Note: For clients unable to attend the inspection, the report can be emailed with a follow-up telephone consultation.
